So from all the advice i got from TE, here is my upgraded system. Got it done from SMC, Nehru place.

Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86 Ghz 9.2k

MSI P965 Neo F 6k

Kingston 512MB*2 DDR2 667Mhz 4.8k

Hitachi 250GB SATAII 3.6k

XFX Geforce 7600GS 6k

LG DVDRW from old pc

Altec Lansing ATP3 from old pc

Samsung 798MB+ from old pc

Logitech keyboard+mouse from old pc

Zebtronics Cabinet+Odyssy 450W SMPS 1.4k

Luminous 600VA UPS 1.6k

BTW which core2duo did u buy, is it e4300 or e6300?
 
Here are some Sandra results.. TOTAL STOCK.. :) (orange bar)



Interesting thing is Athlon X2 4400+ beats in whetstone but not in dhrystone.. but Athlon FX 2.8 is beaten everywhere
