What's that useless paranthesis for?

Man, that chat is slow as hell, can't one access it through an alternative way (like IRC)?
 
yes, at first i thought it was my net, but no, the chat is laggy as hell...
 
If it is not IRC based, maybe you could cut down on the eye candy a bit, and if possible use Java instead of Flash?

As I don't have the flash plugin on opera, I am using mozilla to access it, and damn Mozilla is hanging for every alternative minute ...
 
its not irc based... and lag is due to BW issues involved.
We are still looking into it and improving it. So keep your fingers crossed. As far as irc chat is concerned.. its not possible on this host.(IRC not allowed)

k.. based on preliminary bw feedback.. i am now able to increase the speed substantially. The delay has now been brought down to 0.2secs from 1 sec. I think 0.1 sec is likely too.

So come in and test.

So, the timings have been improved.
But, we have had to implement some lag due to bandwidth constraints....But, the main lag comes in with the connections you are on and where the servers of the chat and ur connection are located.:)

The lag becomes less or reduces if u chat for sometime and it is usually the First few messages that are slow.

Please observe the above in the chat:D

is the problem with my browser or with the chat system. I cannot see any text bar to type the chat text. Just can view others chatting

this happens if its not properly loaded.
Please allow some time for it to load completely. :)
 
until further notice, the refresh rate of flashchat is again 2 seconds.
We will try to work out a better scheme to fix the lag problem.
 
Guys ...no lags whtsoever rite now :ohyeah: ....just cme out of chat room..
btw was feeling lonely....no bots yet :P
