Dear Members,

We would like to induct a few staff members to help manage the ever growing community.

We would like to hear out self-nominations for the post of a Moderator with an answer to the following:

  • What would be the one thing you would like to change about TE to make it a better place, community and a website as a whole.

Here is what we expect from you:

  • A level headed person, dedicated to the work at hand
  • Must be an Active member on TE for atleast 6 months
  • Must have decent communication skills
  • Must not jump to conclusions
  • Technical know-how is an added bonus
  • Prior moderation experience is also an added bonus
  • Experience as to how things work in vBulletin is also an added bonus

The work of a moderator is a thankless job. Not everyone can handle it.

Besides, here on TE, being a non-profit venture, one does not get paid for the work done. It is run by tech enthusiasts for tech enthusiasts. So there is no monetary remuneration involved.

Please Note:

  • The whole recruitment process will be handled by the staff and will be decided by the staff (please don't bribe them).
  • Added bonus points like technical know how, moderation experience etc. DOES NOT guarantee you a position.
  • If selected for the post of a moderator, we shall evaluate your performance over a period of time. If we feel you have not been able to handle the responsibilities, we will have to look at other prospects instead.
  • We hope to get enough good entries, so that we dont have to scratch this entire process.
