The Apple India site is yet to get updated but should soon be..
The price remains the same (~55-56K street price) making it possibly the cheapest laptop in its segment , i.e. a portable rig with a decent GFX subsystem....

The basic white Macbook, also called the 'Macbook White' now. NON-Aluminum one. MRP = ~60k. Mostly possible to get for 57-58k.

The good part, while the new one will be available soon, retailers having the older ones (which were earlier at 60k) will probably offer some nice discounts on those

It's essentially the same system as the Unibody under the hood sans the

- Unibody Al construction

- WLED screen

- the glass touchpad (which is categorically The best touchpad seen ever on a notebook)

Also, I think the RAM is still the slower 667 mhz DDR2 in place of the 1066 mhz DDR3 on the unibody which may possibly take a toll on the GPU performance
