The multiplier on my 1090t keeps dropping to x8. Why?

Hello Friends ...

I try OC my 1090t . Running 4.0GHZ at a x20 multiplier, and I noticed when I'm stress testing (Using Prime 95 Or OCCT), it will randomly drop to x8.

Cool N Quite and C1E:- Disabled .

Dont know why this is happens ? Anyone face this problem ?

Turbo Boost : Drops the multiplier on 3 cores when the other three cores are stressed.

Now The stressed core works at a higher freq when stressed.

I didn't find anything particular by googling that.
Umm mobo support says 1600 DDR3, but 1800 DDR3 by OC, that means u can get 1600MHz speed on default settings by just selecting the option, for 1800(which is higher than the rated speed for Athlon II, Phenom II proccs, you need to change the settings, i.e. OC)

I up voltage upto 1.55v but same problem .

My temp :-

Idle - 22-23c ,Load 42-44c.

I remember you posting in the HWMonitor thread and that ur temps were really really low. But now with 1.55V (which is an insanely high voltage) your temps are still too low!

Not really. All you have to do is raise the memory clock and it should work perfectly at 1800Mhz (if the ram supports it).

have u tried restetting the BIOS? if ressetting the BIOS doesnt work then update the BIOS... i think this may help....

like intel's GO stepping/CE1T amd has a similar backdropping speed function that goes to 8x. you need to disable that function.
