"custom-fit" by SONOMAXâ„¢

Is a technology that consists of a disposable

headband containing the delivery mechanism for our

patented inflation silicone compound and earpiece.

It lets you custom-fit your own ears in just four minutes.
So what it does is you put the SoundCage on your head with the iems in your ear for 4 minutes and the silicone compound takes the shape of your ear. After which you can remove the SoundCage and put them on to a faceplate and your done.
Sounds interesting. ;)

Sculpted Eers fills ears with silicon, molds custom-molded headphones in four minutes flat (ears-on) -- Engadget

Definitely a nice idea. I was hoping that we could use any earphones with this product to convert them into a custom. That is not the case here but they do have plans to license the technology to other earphone makers.

Current offerings are their own earphones only.
The headphones come in two variations -- the PCS-100 and PCS-200 -- and will cost $199.99 and $299.99, respectively. The former features a single dynamic speaker with a native base booster. The latter touts a dual driver for a more natural sounding experience.
