To begin with , they should not have been here. the guy just posted the same stuff from the site onto ours .

And the articles are just link whoring for the software utility's site

to make it worse, all the images are hotlinked from the site and other people's sites.

The same threads were posted all over the web in various forums. at that point, I did report them pointing to the various links to other forums where the same stuff was posted. some of the threads were deleted, but some remain.

and the same bunch of newbies post the same bunch of comments on the same threads elsewhere on the internet,

tracyjump, milkyway, the user ID's just keep on coming, with the same irrelevant doubts, just bumping up the thread again.

I used to just report the posts , but this is frustrating. Useful content or not ( that is highly debatable), these threads need to be deleted. They're just waiting for this spammer's clones to keep bumping up.

The least I will settle for is to remove the URL's, or at least the hyperlinks and lock the threads.

I really dont like TE's pagerank being abused like this

And these threads do get deleted. This is not the first time such thing has happened. I have personally deleted 3-4 such threads.

Most of these threads are posted by the forum spammers working from china.

Just report these and they will be trashed.

the previous times this happened(tracyjump etc) , i just reported the posts , and the id's got banned, but the threads/posts remained, So this time i thought something more needed to be done, thats why this rant :ashamed:
