Hi Guys!
Its been almost an year since I last asked for a PC buying advise and I got awesome help from members here. especially @ALPHA17 and @Jacob
So this time around things changed dramatically, for good. I am in Sydney and its time to build my dream machine. everything top spec and open budget. I will buy them over 2-3 months if it takes.

Questions
  1. Q: What is your budget?
    • --OPEN--YEAH! I SAID OPEN
  2. Q: What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)

    • CPU - Intel i7 4470 -> not really interested in OCing
    • Motherboard - preferably without sound
    • GPU - Waiting on Sapphire 290X Tri-X OC but if that doesnt come soon might order Gigabyte 290X Windforce OC. Not looking for Crossfire at this moment as I dont think its needed. but I might in future.
    • Cabinet: Last one was Corsair Carbide 500R and was awesome. Need something like that or better.
    • SMPS: Last one was Corsair HX620 and it was like a rock even after 7 years. so its going to be Corsair this time too.
    • Sound: Creative Sound Blaster Z -- No negotiations here.
    • HDD: looking for SSD + HDD type setup.
    • RAM: Min 16GB
    • Razer Orbweaver for gaming.

  5. Q: Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
    • Yes, Anything

  6. Q: Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)

For competitive FPS gaming Audio Technica AD 700(they lack bass) would be great.

Other TE members must chime in for opinions on HD598 or other suggestions.

Awesome stuff. Where did you get the chair from and how much did it cost?
I purchased online.

more is never enough

Btw, today's update is that all the stuff arrived and the box came to life. took a while for me to setup windows and all the drivers... the cpu is pretty cool at 32C:D will start overclocking sometime next week.
if you look at it, even the big a$$ dell monitor looks puny in front of the phantom 820 lol.
