OK...I have decided on what should be the configuration of the laptop I'm going to buy, but I'm stuck again.
I am hesitant to go with HP and Compaq because of their horrible customer service. There's a whole bunch of complaints out there on consumercomplaints.com and consumeraffairs.com if you search it out. Almost 60% are complaints against HP and Compaq.
Now, IBM and Lenovo are out because of low value-for-money.
Dell remains, and I'm kinda bent towards it but I'm unsure about the ordering process, since my friend isn't happy about ordering online and about it's operating temperatures. My friend who owns a Dell Vostro has actually noticed smoke rising from his laptop. :S Plus, I'm worried about the service Dell offers in India.
The bottom line is, I'm thoroughly confused as to which brand should I go for, which will give me the best customer service in Mumbai.
Help me guys, I'm counting on you!
