TV vs Mobile costs

Wondering how come TV and mobiles costs are at competition at same range?

Either TV or mobile, display costs 50% of the cost when we go for replacements. So how does a 6 inch mobile and a 32 inch TV are sold at no huge difference in prices?

both serve different purposes so the comparison, in general, is not correct.

Becz tv is not pocketable...cannot find sim networks, no cameras....

There are more factors to it. A TV is big in size and its easier fitting a CPU, RAM, Storage, etc. and managing the thermals. However, a mobile has so many components which has to be packed in a small size with thermal constraints. Hence the R&D and manufacturing costs for mobiles are high.

Mobile screens are much better in quality.

Even cheap mobile screens are 2-3 times brighter than the TVs.

It's expensive to make screens with very thin bezels.

It's expensive to make screens that bend. All flagship mobiles come with folded screen.

Touchscreen.

Changing mobile screen is challenging and there's some collateral loss.

Toughened glass like gorilla.

If I’m not wrong, ppi should also matter here.
A typical phone with a 6.5 inch display and full hd res, will be having approx 338 ppi.
Where as a 32 inch for the same resolution will have only 68ppi. As we see tv from a distance we don’t notice the difference much. But taking ppi into consideration, the manufacturing cost varies as well.
