Typing Speed

I was just wondering what everyone's typing speed around here is?

Last I checked (which was quite recently) I can clock about 118 WPM. Need to get it to 120 WPM so that I can say I can type two words in a second. ;)
 
i think that would be cpm isn't it avatar?? well i want to make better the way i type well most of the s/w ppl don't use the fingers as a typist but yeah it's useful though so looking in to type without having my eyes down n the key board for long...lolz and as per speed is considered.. thanks to the chats which made me type fast so as to keep 6 different windows going on at the same time....lol
 
I mentioned in my post, it's Words Per Minute. 118 Words Per Minute at the moment, I'll throw a party when I get to 120. :P
 
Mine is about 37 wpm with 94% accuracy... by the way if its 118 wpm what ur accuracy avatara ????? Le me guess 99%... 100% i am feelin like gettin a party already dude....
 
Download any typing tutor software and start typing. It will let you know your speed, your error rate and also how many what is your error rate for each finger.
 
~ 40 words per minute with 100% accuracy. However, this was checked using the extremely unscientific method of typing a passage in this article and measuring the time taken.
 
Accuracy with 118 WPM is around 90-92% I think, which isn't too bad, typing in a backspace and correcting your error hardly takes some time and it happens quite... well not often at least, happens every now and then.

With 100% accuracy I think my speed would drop to about 102 WPM.
