Price and Availability-

The Ubuntu edge will start shipping from May 2014. It is available only on Indiegogo and can be booked by paying $695. The shipping is free to the US and UK, other international customers need to pay $30 extra for shipping.

The prospect of smartphone running a desktop OS seems great and the device itself seems very promising. For Indian buyers the device will cost $725 without taxes and duties which translates to Rs 45000 approx all inclusive. This price is not bad at all considering other flagship phones and phablets are already falling in this range.
