From the inquirer....

Last of our articles is an exclusive article from OCW about the forthcoming ULI M1595/1567 chipset. ULI, ex ALI, is having a remarkable comeback on the chipset front and hopefully, they will be able to match their past performance. Their M1595 chipset allows both AGP and PCI express to be used simultaneously in native mode. If you can live with the pop ups, have a look at the figures and be surprised.

Ah, a dream board for upgraders. With AGP and PCI-e on the same board, there is no need to bother with mobo upgrades when the decision to migrate from AGP cards to PCI-e cards is taken. I like it!! And it supports the older PCI graphic cards to boot...

Why do u need AGP as PCI-E x16 is the Future of Graphics.

The only Advantage is that AGP versions of 6800 , 6800GT come at low cost than the PCI-E one.
As Anish had got a 6800 Plain for around 13K , if i aint wrong.
But AGP is restricted to 8x speed.

well if someone has a 9800 or a 9600, and wants to move to a64, but doesnt have the budget for a new gfx, this is the perfect solution. ( cause s754 is not really future proof).

Another trully innovative chipsets by ULi , and its performance looks truly blazing, much better nf4 counterparts.
