Hmm R520 is gonna be a boon for sure, as ATI is apparently slashing prices of its X800 counterparts by a huge margin,
 
Currently the best mid-level cards are the Radeon x800GT's.

Both pricewise and performance / overclocking abilities.
Currently it is a better alternative to 6600GT, and selling like hot cakes.
one good thing will be that soon Nvidia will have to reduce the price of 6800 based cards to $160 ~170 levels (approx equal to X800GT prices)
Exciting times ahead in the graphics battlefront.
Competition is Good for the consumer ....:D :clap:

Another good option for Entry - mid level AGP bus card is the leadtek 6800 LE.

it is being sold for less than $125.
