Hi Ppl,

I was going to buy the Jetway AMD690G board but turns out that its not available

So what would you suggest then? Options:
M2NMX(6100 onboard) (quoted: 6250 with 3600+)
M2AVM(690G) (quoted 6900 with 3600+)

MSI boards? How are those?

Need to buy today itself so need to decide by afternoon :(

please help

No overclocking etc will be done. So just need a basic VFM board.

Thanks

Me leaning towards the M2A-VM.

Just checked and it seems M2n-MX does not have DVI port, right?

M2A-VM seems to have that advantage.

Also looking at the MSI K9NGM2. It has DVI too with Nvidia 6150 on board.

Suggestions?

EDIT: The MSI is cheaper I think.

EDIT: Scratch MSI..the FIH model i was lookinga t does not have DVi :(

Can someone confirm that the M2A-VM has DVI? THat will be the one then....

availability in pune is the issue :p

wont find those here anyway....its going to be Asus as much as i hate it :(

So M2n-MX or M2A-vm? Someone confirm that either one has DVI of these and i ll go buy it....

Yeah that one costs around 4.8k here in Pune !!!

Also check out Asus M2N-PV-MX !!!

Same as da VM - just lacks da FireWire port !!! :(

Costs 400 less as well !!!

I have used three AsRock AM2NF6G-VSTA based on the NVIDIA GeForce 6100 + nForce 405 chipset. It works fine. However I don't know if it supports DDR2 memory above 667MHz

Has anyone tried the

ASUS P5B-VM SE
(micro ATX, X3000 IGP, cheaper than P5B-VM as it replaces the eSATA, 7.1Channel & IEEE1394 for a Serial Port & 5.1 Channel Audio)

aah i do have a jetway board using right now....but only problem is it hates my dvd writer(i guess prob with ide) takes 1 minute to detect it.....

but still interested can pm me

@techaditya: No offense intended dude but 1. Less posts repeating the same thing

2. Off topic for the thread :bleh:

Anyways: Good news people, my dealer managed to order a single Jetway board from Rashi Mumbai for me :hap2:

Picked it up this evening for 3050.

Three cheers for my dealer

Took 2 days but he came through. I as already searching around for alternatives.

@Greenhorn: it looks like a great board ;)

EDIT: Oh, and this has DVI :D
