Urgent: Choosing budget mobile < 7-8k

- Nokia/Sony ericsson mobile preferred for a friend.

- radio, camera(1.3MP and above), bluetooth, memory card slot preferred

Streamlined options:

Nokia 5300

Nokia 3110(but not comfortable with the keypad)

Nokia 6151

Sony ericsson z550i

Nokia 5500

Need help to eliminate from above and choose one.. Any other suggestions also welcome...

K750i not preferred by friend. so its ruled out.

nokia 3110 is not that great with a poor screen.

if he's comfortable with the 5500 its the best buy there. symbian and 2mpx cam.

if he's looking for a sharper screen(QVGA vs. 5500 208*208) and slightly better music functions then a 5300 is also good.
 
@asdf: u in chennai??? which shop in chennai is preferred to buy????

and any place where we can manually check out the phones before we actually buy them..???
 
Add another 100 or 200 bucks n u will get the Nokia 6233.....Way betta than all the above mentioned.....

I got mine for 8100 in Goa....
 
i usually get mine from hello world which is a shop in gokul arcade adyar. though not very flexible in terms of prices, service is good and he may give a few hundreds of the MRP. but if you're going for the 5500 the only shop that seems to stock it is univercell. other shops don't seem to have a listing for it.

if u can extend ur budget as bennick suggested u can easily get the 6233 beats everything mentioned. but the bundle is very sparse and u'll have to get a micro sd card(700-800) and a data cable(300-400). dont buy the cable dealer gives you. waste of cash at 1.5k
 
as u are using SE ..... i will suggest u K750i :) ...... yesterday saw it on sifymall for 8k ....... great deal i must day .....

Btw saw this Fly 2080 mobile today...touchscreen, good audio, 1.3MP cam ...at a good price of 7k.

For some reason K750 is nt preferred by her frnd...So was ruled out anyway.
