Urgent help : iphone not responding..

Hi guys i tried erasing all my datas from iphone by the restore option in the phone, it was carrying out some operation for 2 hours, but now the phone is not booting up, just that silver apple logo comes, itunes also not detecting it, tried to get in to D.F.U mode, then also its not detecting.. Pls help me..
 
try restore mode, a softer method than DFU

switch off phone, then keep the home button pressed while plugging in the USB cable from the PC..

should bring up the restore mode

restore to 2.2 then quickpwn
 
Hi I've the same prob after erasing all data the screen of my Iphone 2 g 3.0 shows only Apple logo, after doing what you suggested my screen still shows the apple logo only pls advise
