So my brother has grown tired of Windows phones and is looking to switch to Android ecosystem. He's quite fond of Lenovo A7000 that I bought for my sister last year, he's looking at something similar albeit a better battery life. Is this a good phone - Lenovov Vibe P1m - to plonk down my money?

I'd suggest looking at the Xiaomi Mi4i as well. It's available for Rs. 9999 on the app. You can get a further discount of 1k if you have a standard chartered card.

Yeah. I like Mi4i. In fact it's a super phone compared to this, but he stays in a smaller town which I'm sure does not have a Xiaomi Service Center. He's ok only with bigger brands.
