Video urgently required- AC 1 ton, fridge and a TV tuner card

guys i ll be shifting to a hostel room and require the following :

1. AC - 1 tonne

2. Fridge- 180-200 Ltrs

3. A usb powered external TV tuner card for laptop

as i ll be moving within 3-4 days so i need to purchase this on urgent basis , i need good vfm- mid range of the above things , so please recommend accordingly

my preferences for ac 1 ton any 3 star rated LG or samsung or voltas or even ogeneral - budget 15-20k , o general is bit expensive but i guess it doesnot come with auto restart , i need one with auto restart :p

is it good brand and model , i have no idea , i saw this in person and i liked its look and finish:p ,

budget for fridge 8-12k

for tv tuner card for my laptop- i got no idea , so please recommend - budget 1500-2000 , lower the better , shud support my acer laptop on win 7 with 16:9 resolution on basic cable connection or even dth may be later

need these things to work for atleast 3 years :bleh:
 
Buy Hitachi 1.5 Ton 3 star not 5 or 2. Rs. 25k. Later use at home! Increase budget. 1 ton might just be useless once u get over with the hostel story.

Buy any Godrej Fridge (don't know model)

Buy avermedia TV Tuner. (Don't know model number)
 
Whirlpool for fridge is quite good.

For tvtuner, avermedia should be nice quality and again quality depends on input signal.

I am glad to know that your hostel is allowing all this luxury.
 
all this luxury is at the cost of 1.44lac annual hostel fee :p , all the luxury items though allowed have to be purchased by the students ,

btw its in amritsar

not bought anything as of now , fridge is more or less decided on samsung 180 ltr , will cost 8700/- from CSD ,

and 1 ton ac i will use my old ac from my home , its 1 ton- FEDDER ,

tv tuner can wait ,

so its more or less decided, unless someone changes my mind :p

And I thought my hostel was expensive!!!

(1lpa for Food+unlimited AC+unlimited water/electricity 42 inch LCD's in common room)

my food is extra + ac is not unlimited , its like 30k annual bill included ,anything over it - u have to pay :p
