USB or LAN?

Hi,
I have a 256kbps Airtel connection.
Should I connect through USB port or LAN card, in the sense
which option will give me a better speed ? Or is it the same.
FYI I mainly download music from various bit torrent sites.

as long as you dont need your LAN port for anything else, use it :D

i dont have enough USB ports already :( . plus using USB takes up more CPU , and LAN is more safer against lightning/ spikes on the cable(as only the LAN chip gets fried)
 
well...assuming u will be usin it in windows..u can use either...the speeds will hardly differ...but if u are in Linux/unix box..i doubt the availability of drivers for USB conn...& also...LAN is far more stable than USB conn as chaos said..
