Storage Solutions USB to esata cable

I have a USB 2.5" external hard drive from HP. http://www.cnet.com/products/hp-portable-hard-drive/
I was wondering if there is a way where I can use a USB to eSATA cable to connect my hard drive to PC/laptop. Both the machines have eSata while lacking USB 3.

Can anyone help me? I did go through this thread https://www.techenclave.com/community/threads/suggest-me-sata-to-usb-esata-cable.105684/ but it didn't make much sense to me.
I do not want to go for casing and I am currently using USB to microUSB cable.
