Using i7 resources through LAN...

Hey,

I currently having no Graphic card in my PC...

I started the PC and tried assessing it through Teamviewer, and it worked!!!

But since it does not have a GPU, Team viewer shows black screen, I can access all the files but cant see anything (We can generally see and control everything with mouse n keyboard...)

I actually wanted to convert videos and put em in my Pendrive...
And this laptop does it very slowly,
Can I use my i7 Processing power to do it quick in some way???
I use Xilisoft video converted...

there seems to be something in the way you posted this query or I mis-understood your post.

you mean to say your core i7 system does not have a video card and can't give decent output for teamweaver client on laptop ? I am using teamweaver without descrete GPU on good old pentiums without any issue.

For a good convertor for free, you can try

SUPER &copy

and see the results.

sorry if I mis-understood your post.

Thats not what I am saying...

Without Graphic cards, i7 cant giv display...

So my teamviewer shows a blank black screen when I connect in Full control mode...

As far as my understanding goes, you dont need separate graphic card for this type of use if you are connecting through LAN, onboard display is more than enough.

Can you check with UltraVNC ?

Have you installed TeamViewer on the PC of which you want to take the remote-control of? Or are you just using the standalone version? I used to have the black screen problem with the standalone version.

I did read your full post and nowhere have you mentioned in your OP that you have "installed" it on your PC. I was talking about the standalone version of TeamViewer called "TeamViewer Portable" which also allows you to take remote control without actually having installed it. I had this same problem of blank black screen when I was using this portable version.

Will it be able to handle HD videos???
If you mean play HD videos, then I don't think so. To be safe, raise ur budget to 300 ~ 400 and try for cards like the 6600GT, 7300LE, 7300GS, 7300GT, 8400GS. Put up a WTB in the Members Market and you should get offers.

Converting shouldn't be an issue as most converters are CPU dependant.
