The long awaited 1.2 is here. Along with a slew of improvements, the most notable new feature is Mainline compatible DHT (Trackerless) support. The version was bumped from 1.1.7.2 to 1.2 due to the significance of the changes. Note however that Unicode is not yet supported, but it will be available soon. Also, the changes for the unofficial 1.1.8.RC1 version are listed below. You can get it from the download section.

Archish whats the memory usage when downloading 2-3 torrents with huge file sizes ?

the client when loaded eats 1mb memory. With 2 torrents the memory usage was less than 5mb. The only thing i found unusual was the speed which kept fluctuating, bitcomet gives me steady speed.

EDIT the torrents were one cd size file and a dvd image.

yeah u torrents speeds fluctuate a lot in comaprison to bitcomet....besides nothing catches seeds as fast and as much as bitcomet does :D

now u tell me after i download 40 % of a 1.4 gig file, zzzzzz...

yea, download speed keeps on fluctuating though uploads stay quite constant...

The speeds vary a lot in comparision with Bit Comet. But one thing I have noticed even with a steady and faster download rate, the amount of data collected in a given period of time is the same !!!

Maybe Bitcomet downloads a lot of trash data, or misreports the speeds.

The speeds arent to constant. Very low then Moderatly high.

I never get Full Speeds like in BitComet.

ill stick to bitComet thank you.. :D
