I seem to b having a problem with my utorrent application.

Dht nodes remain at zero doesnt login only.

This thing just started from yesterday all of sudden.. untill yest. eveything was working fine.

i tried reinstalling + deleting registry. etc dunno what the problem is plzz help me out.

Try changing your port and make sure new port is not being blocked by your firewall.

Naah port isnt blocked, tried changing it , it is forwarded properly i even tried turning the firewall off.

Yup, I've been having similar problems with uTorrent lately. Sometimes the downloads start and sometimes they just don't (even thought I see on TPB that there are enough seeds present for that particular torrent!).

I tried with BitComet as well, but the problem persists. :(

@OP, if your torrents are public ones then try using DHT cracked version of Utorrent(you can get these from mininova)

^^it is same as official Utorrent except in the part of DHT and Peer Exchange.

There are some public torrents made intentionally or accidentally similar to a private torrent(means no DHT or Peer Exchange enabled) those can get benefit from using DHT patched version of Utorrent (in this DHT and Peer Exchange is enabled by default for all torrents, be it public or private).

It is mainly used against torrents from semi public trackers like demonoid (Moviex in the past)

just my 2cents

I guess this might have something to do with Piratebay going down, then?

Yup, since TPB went down, and changed servers, their trackers are causing problems. To get around this, just enable DHT in your torrent application. Works fine after that.

here is da solution :::::::::

If u r using utorrent,

Goto Preference >>>BitTottent

Under protocol encryption, select outgoing as Enabled

and check Allow incoming legacy connections.

If still not working, select outgoing as Forced

Hope this works

I'll have to try this but exactly how do you do it?

It seems that Airtel's undersea broadband cables got damaged(or getting repaired) hence very inconsistent browsing and download speeds i am experiencing since morning with frequent ping breaks.

+1. This may be ur problem with ISP throttling torrent speeds. Even if it is not it is wise to enable it.

Ok i started a download with a featured torrent of mininova n the download started to my surprise even without the above setting... but i have enabled it now.

the tracker in my torrent which was not workin was .sumotracker.

also i was unable to find a cracked/patched file of utorrent . i found one on mininova but it had 0 seeds. plz provide a link.. if possible..

Hey found a link but its utorrent 1.8.2

Please be careful some of the conversation is skirting around pirating a little closely ;)

Have you also checked the leecher and seed setting, perhaps you are overwhelming your bandwidth. Also check the router and make sure you have properly delegated bandwidth to your applications etc.......
