Could you tell me the mileage of your ride please? A friend wants to buy the 500 Classic Desert Storm and he was shocked at the 23-25 kmpl mileage part. The 350 Classics offer a bit more IINM.
 
It is 27kmpl on highways, maybe 29kmpl if I keep it at 50kmph and avoid unnecessary braking. In cities it varies between 23-26kmpl depending on the traffic. My friend has the Desert Storm, and it too gives the same mileage.

The 350 does offer a better mileage; around 35kmpl I guess.

I posted this more than a year ago; all the pics were lost while the forum was upgraded I guess. The bike is more than 2-years-old now, though I hardly use it. Need to plan some long trips soon.
