well the prices are around 850 odd in the market - can we get a better deal here. I am interested in the 8 GB card since it would be a addon to the sansa I ordered.

The odd 800 Rs. ones are mostly Class 2 ...

Class 4's are faster than those...

Also the max available is class 6

An 8GB class 6 Transcend microSDHC costs less than this when used with ebay coupons:

The above costs Rs.1075 without any coupons. Add to this a 15% coupon, and you'll get it for around Rs.925 - slightly lesser than here, but a class 6 card.

Hey guys ,let me make it clear I was talking of Class II cards for 830-850 bucks. Even those cost 950 in all the local shops I inquired.

Just wanted to make it clear. If these prices are for class 4 cards ,they are indeed good. Sorry for any unintentional thread crapping.

^ He is right , I personally spoke to DVD store delhi owner Rakesh few days back and he said he has the old stock with him and the pricing will change once he gets a new stock .

The prices have actually increased , i went to the market expecting to get one for 800-850 Rs. Tried 5-6 shops , No one quoted less than 950 Rs.
