Guys,

I found a store selling Verbatims DVD+R 50 dvd spindles for 525
Buy 2-3 and you may get for 500

Personally, this is the cheapest that I have found so far

They are MII with proper distri sticker
Silver Matt Finish

Store location - >

At Narasingapuram St --> Opp to Nakoda plaza
the complex which is to the left of KAJ Plaza when facing it, there is a lathe next to the concerned complex
So, its between Lathe and KAJ Plaza
There are many DVD media shops there --> onec u enter, just cross 5-6 store on your right side and ask for Verbatim DVDs, you will find that shop

I didnt see the name of the shop --> hence the weird directions :ashamed:

and last but not least lets have some ebay listing for this which makes it a steal....

spectre if this is in chennai...ask delta for pricing...
am sure he would come close.........

Delta dont stock DVDs, infact i scouted many stores, cant get this pricing,

Infact his pricing for other DVDs also are super good
Look like, he is a some distri
and he didnt reduce a single rupee, straight pricing

Sorry pal, I aint organizing any GO/Ebay listings for these.
I have very less spare time these days due to work and studies.
Maybe someone from Chennai if interested can get a GO done for this
 
I bought DVD-R 50 pack for Rs.480 from lamington road...I dont remember the name of the shop :( ...National dvds packs of 100 was available for Rs.525...

Verbatim DVD+R/-R DL pack of 10 for 425....

it was inside a lane bigger than topiwala or tara temple...
 
@rohan30186 : Are you sure what you bought was genuine. Inside Tara Temple Lane there are lot of vendors selling these but I do not believe they are genuine.

If you can confirm the DVDs you got were genuine then I shall scout this location next time I am there.

just check the import/distri sticker on the spindle, and also check their media code and where its made

I do not think national dvd's are sold in 100 packs. Did you mean 2 spindles of 50 each? Total 525/-? Could you confirm that? It will help me in negotiation next i go to lamington.

Yes m sure they were genuine....bought 2 packs of 50....it was properly sealed with verbatim packing...no problems what so ever burnt arnd 25dvds already....n the shop is completely dedicated towards sales of cds n dvds...loose cds/dvds were not avaialble...packs of 10,25,50 n 100 ....similar thing for dual layer as well....the lady manager told 500 as cost of 50dvds...n gave it for 960 (50*2)...and the lane is not tara temple..its third/4th lane from the signal near flyover....its a proper shop ...not a roadside stall...

yes m sure they were giving pack of 100 national dvds for 550(Rs.525-530 after bargain)....they were giving it in sealed plastic covering...no spindle...

Did you check the dealer sticker ??

Yup i know national dvd's are given in sealed plastic covers. I already have 50x2 cakes. I have a tough time getting it at 300 per 50 discs. I wonder how they seal 100 dvd's in that plastic seal. Quality is good enough to burn all the random gb's of internet downloads. I'll bargain @ 530 next time go there. Can you mark the shops on google map for us?
