Viewsonic has launched its latest Full HD 1080p series of LCD monitors for the Indian market, which includes three 22-inch LCD Monitors - VX2260wm, VX2233wm and VA2213wm. It comes loaded with all the usual suspects: 1080p native resolution, widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, HDMI and DVI-D with HDCP connectivity etc.

The response time for the VX2260wm is daunting at 2ms with an equally impressive sounding 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. There are cooler features than competitors, like integrated stereo speakers with SRS WOW HD stereo sound, so multimedia guys can check it out.

Gautam Ghosh, Country Manager, ViewSonic Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. said, "By introducing the Full HD 1080p series, ViewSonic remains ahead of the pack by continuing to provide advanced technologies that optimize the desktop experience and meets the growing demands of both gamers and professionals for top-of-the-line images and performance. ViewSonic's Full HD 1080p series delivers excellent front-of-screen performance and provides consumers with an opportunity to own a very personal top of the line media center."

Viewsonic has not released any prices yet so stay tuned.

More TN panels.... when are we gonna see transition into better panel types.... (P-MVA or S-IPS anyone)...

I agree with sumchamp... Viewsonic needs to first improve its service at back end...

"ahead of the pack" ?? These guys just talk out of their @#$ huh? BenQ and Dell have already beaten them to it. Considering they haven't even released price details yet, forget availability in the market, they are trailing the pack, not ahead of them.
