Monitors Viewsonic lcd display problem

Hello guys, i have a VIEWSONIC VA703m 17" LCD monitor (NO WARRANTY LEFT), its lcd panel has been damaged due some unknown reasons.

partial part of monitor is working excellent but other part is damaged.
only panel is damaged rest all circuitry is fine since i had dismantled entire monitor.

Is there any way i can repair this monitor or get a replacemnt panel.

Any help would be appreciated.

have you tried calling View sonic support for it?

^yaa i called n emailed they say no support for guarantee expired monitor.
They tell me to contact service centre.
Anyone knows viewsonic service centre in lamington, might visit 2moro.

any chances of getting replacement panel and what would be its cost?

A new one would probably cost you less

I don't think that is repairable as far as the panel is concerned.

The service centre usually replaces the entire panel.

And that may cost you as much as a new and maybe better lCD monitor.

hmmm ok i guess i have to dump this crappy viewsonic, warranty over in June 2010, monitor dead in July 2010.
