Monitors Viewsonic monitor not detected!

Hey guys...

One of ma friend's viewsonic LCD monitor-VA1703wb.. Its not gettin detected in XP, after a fresh installation of XP with SP2 was done yest..

Its an xfx 650i ultra mobo.. And an xfx 7900gt gfx.. Loaded d latest drivers for xp 32 bit.. We were forced to create a resolution of 1440x900..

We tried installin d drivers of d monitor with d cd provided but in vain..

Pl help with some solution.. :) TIA..
 
Usually on d display properties.. It shows nvidia 7900gt/gto on a viewsonic 1703wb.. It doesn show tat..

Instead it shows on standard monitor.. Drivers couldn be updated even thru d device manager..
 
just go to the viewsonic site and download the drivers from there. Install from the downloaded file (not the device manager method).

The monitor doesn't get detected automatically for my 1930 too.
 
^^thanx to kumar.. It worked.. Downloaded d signed drivers from their site and updated it.. The native resolution was detected on d next restart.. Thanx again..
