this is first time i have got this msg while browsing TE :S . a bit of work for the mods to do :P !!

The forums works fine here, No such messages.I am linux, but still Google chrome does warn about malware.

did you get this message again?

maybe your browser is already a victim of some malware/spyware.

try running AD-Aware and Spybot-Search and Destroy.

Never faced this error.... lol... This reminds me of the one time when Websense in my office had blocked our own portal page.... all people were searching frantically all over the WWW for a fix.....

There are few possibilities for this warning

1. Spam members may have posted the URL containing malware/spyware contents.

2. Advertise on TE may link to that URL

I'm sure this forum is as clean as it was. Finally, we're here with very good purpose.

I got that warning message once, when I tried to open a thread in the General Section. Someone had apparently hot linked an image, or a forward point to another malicious web site. Never opened that thread again. Sorry cannot remember which thread it was. Else TE is quite safe, while browsing.

this also happened to me for the first time. but it wont stop me from visiting TE if i can still visit those ahem:ashamed: sites after numerous warnings TE is far better frm them :)

make sure your computer date/time is not set incorrectly.

similar things happen when your computer can not match the time zone with the time on the server.. that is.. if TE server time is in future with respect to your PC's time..

that was the problem just chkd my clock it was ahead by 1 hr lolzzzz ...
:hap2:VISITING TE WILL NOT HARM YOUR COMPUTER :hap2:

^ It's the issue of security certificate. Sites have security certficates which show that they are legit sites. When the time setting is incorrect, the info doesn't match and the site thus becomes "unsafe".
