Vodafone call waiting not working - Redmi 2 Prime

Ported to Vodafone recently. Unable to get call waiting working.

Dialing *43# doesn't seem to be working. Getting the below error. Customer care says just dial the number and then reboot to get it working. Didn't work out.

Also the setting for call waiting isn't getting enabled and keeps throwing error.

Anyone else facing similar issue with Vodafone? Haven't tried to use this in another phone and tried it yet. But need to get it working with the Redmi 2 Prime.

So even basic call waiting won't work? When the Vodafone number is engaged in a call and if someone calls the number it just keeps saying busy and I don't even receive that as a missed call.

I thought this was a basic facility provided by all operators!
