Regulations in India are already preventing PayPal from launching, which is why eBay will be open to acquiring a *popular* online payment service (if wallet365 turns out to be popular)... based on eBay's history, they are more likely to acquire a third party than integrate a third party payment service into their marketplace.

hmm can somebody help me with this ??

i have signed up on their website ...now i want to transfer some cash to a friend in pune .. ill ask him to sign up too and then transfer the cash to his email id with which he signed up.

now i wanna know how can he withdraw the cash ?? he does not have a bank account and i was reading that you can withdraw using a DD .. all i wanna know is can a DD be encashed in person or u need a bank account to encash the DD ????

will my frnd get cash from the bank whoz DD it is , if he just takes the DD which is in his name to their branch ???

hmm can cheques be encashed in person ?? if i write a cheque in his name and courier it to him ..can he encash it by going to the banks branch ???

I've never done that before... I mean, in the same city I know you can issue a bearer cheque and the person can withdraw, but I'm not sure if it works for outstation cheques. You may want to call your bank with this question... they'll be able to answer it. Another alternative is postal money order :)
