U said that u r mostly looking for an intel rig... if thats not the case then here comes the amd rig config:

Processor AMD Athlon II 640/Phenom II X4 955BE 4600/6750

Motherboard MSI 880GMA-E45(Sata3+USB3) 5200

RAM Corsair Value RAM 1333MHz 2x2GB 2000

HDD Seagate 7200.12 1TB 2750

GPU Onboard HD4250

Monitor BenQ G2220HD 7700

Cabinet NZXT Gamma 2100

PSU Sesonic S12II 430 2600

Keyboard Logitech Combo 700

Mouse

ODD Samsung/Sony/LG 950

Speakers Altec Lansing BXR1121 950

Total 29550/31700

U said that u wont b gaming on this pc so the onboard IGPHD4200 wud do fine... And it can easily handle HD movies...

suggested u a USB3+Sata3 motherboard which has vertical aligned sata ports...

add a graphic card later when u will feel the need for it...

Benq G2220HD is a great Full HD monitor.. i have this monitor... but if u want G2420HD it will overshoot ur budget... it costs some 4.5k more than G2220HD...

Thanks Hades

I need one more favour

please tell me which one should i buy Intel or Amd

as i hav heard Intel has long life and Amd is not that much trustworthy for long run

and ya

wat if i will buy a cabnet and power supply of Zebronics Bijli 500 watts

will it affect my pc in long run

because that combo will cost around Rs.2500/- so i will save Rs1000/- easily

and ya i am planning to use my monitor as TV also so thats why i hav thought of Benq G2420HD

So what should i do now

Please help me out

Rumours. Processors are the most reliable components in your PC be it Intel or AMD.

Your motherboard is more likely to fail before your processor.

Yes it will affect your PC in the long run. Don't compromise on a decent PSU at any cost.

If you need to save 1000/- , buy a single stick of 2GB RAM or choose an X3 440 instead of the X4 640.

Crazy_Eddy answered ur queries... :D... BTW y are u skimping on anything? the rig that i've suggested easily fits in ur budget... :) Dont compromise on anything... Its better to be safe than sorry... I m saying this coz PSU is a very important part of any rig... almost all the important components life depends on a psu... like CPU, GPU, Motherboard, HDD etc... If u buy a cheap PSU u may end up frying them sooner or later... So buy the rig that i have suggested... :)

then buy FSP saga II 400W 2k

2gb ram

x4 640
S12II 430 is a better option coz it comes wid 2 6 Pin PCI-E power connectors plus it has better efficiency than FSP Saga 400w PSU... And this PSU can also handle GTX460 widout breaking a sweat... :) Although Nvidia recommends atleast a 450w PSU for gtx460... but i think S12II430w is capable of handling GTX460 and providing 450w... SO IMO S12II 430w wud b a great buy...

Processor AMD Athlon II X4 640 4600
Motherboard MSI 880GMA-E45(Sata3+USB3) 5200
RAM Corsair Value RAM 1333MHz 2GB 1000
HDD Seagate 7200.12 1TB 2750
GPU Onboard HD4250
Monitor BenQ G2420HD 11000
Cabinet Zebronics Bijili w/o PSU 1100
PSU FSP SAGAII 400w 1900
Keyboard Logitech Combo 700
Mouse
ODD Samsung/Sony/LG 900
Speakers Altec Lansing BXR1121 950
Total 30100

If you going for a GPU that consumes ~120w power or less then the FSP SAGAII 400w would suffice.

(GTS 450, HD5770 or similar --> These GPU's cost ~7-8k)

@zk

i wudnt advice u to skimp on the cabby coz its a great cabby has great airflow and wud b best for future upgrades... like if in the future u wanna add a big graphic card 10inch long or so this cabby wud easily take in that GPU... Plus its build quality is great...

And as far as the PSU is concerned its always better to buy a higher wattage PSU... which again wud help u for future upgrades... So buy the S12II 430w PSU that i have recommended... :)

@hades

S12II 430w is a good choice but OP wants his config exactly within 30k so FSP saga II 400W saves some bucks for him and its 80+.

FSP Saga II 400w which is selling for 1900 comes wid 2 yrs warranty where as Seasonic S12II 430w is selling for 2600 comes wid 3 yrs warranty... S12II 430w has better efficiency (80+ Bronze)... Comes wid 2 6Pin PCI-E Connectors... And 3Yrs warranty so its better than FSP Saga 400w in every way... For 700 bucks more buying an S12II 430w is a no brainer... Checkout the rig that i've suggested it completely fits in his budget the difference between my rig and DAs suggested rig is that i have suggested 22incher where as DA has suggested 24incher... i have suggested NZXT Gamma whereas DA has suggested Zerbronics cabby... and i've recommended 4 GB RAM where as DA' has suggested 2GB RAM...

@zk

If u wanna use ur monitor as television then buy BenQ E2220HD ~ 8600 (2xHDMI Ports, 4xUSB Ports) Company says that it comes wid total 11 ports... :)

BenQ E2220HD: BenQ India | Products - LCD MonitorsSeries - E Series - E2220HD

Which one should i buy

AS my 5 friends are using INtel Processor and Gigabyte n Intels Motherboard

Their PC runs 24X7 for downloading for past 4 years

still they havnt got any problem yet

so i m bi confused between intel or AMD

please help me out

You can go with amd cpu + any gigabyte 880 board, cpu very rarely fail, amd or intel both cpus are equally reliable and now price of i3 540 is increasing everyday so go with amd x4 640 cpu.

@op - Hades suggested you a very good combination with SB ..just add 1k or 1.5k to get a usb3 mobo

P8H67-M PRO - 7.8k

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards - ASUS P8H67-M PRO

P8H67-M - 7.2k

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards - ASUS P8H67-M
Errr. P8H67-M doesnt have USB 3.0. Check the link :p

I would suggest the Asus P8H67-M LE ~ 6.1k (If USB 3.0 is needed) or as Hades suggested the Gigabyte H67M-D2 ~ 5.2k (No USB 3.0 ports)

But keep in mind that both these boards have only 2 RAM slots.
