Hi guys,
I will be travelling to the US soon so i'm planning on getting some stuff back.

I want to buy an Asus MG279Q and carry it as check-in baggage. Will also be buying some liquid cooling parts.

I want to know if this is safe? Also will customs be applicable if just pack it in a a large travel bag?

Thanks in Advance

Indian Baggage Rules states if you stay abroad (except Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar or China) from more than 3 days, and if you are more than 18 years old, then you are eligible to get goods up-to Rs.45000 duty free along with you. Please read the document carefully and thoroughly. I hope that members on this forum who had traveled abroad to US earlier could provide you with much better and useful info.

Thanks for the quick response. I guess you are right. Might be a good idea for me to check-in it in original packaging. Will probably get extra packing done at the airport.
The only exception to the rule seems to be for TV, alcohol etc
