Monitors Water Residue on lcd ?

Need a help on cleaning a lcd monitor.. Had used water once while cleaning..a residue has been formed on the screen.. so to remove i used friends lcd cleaner he had got it frm us.. but that did worst the residue marks have spreaded across the screen.. well the screen is clear.still when i switch it off i can c the residue marks on the screen. can sum help regarding the removal .. just went to a computer shop n found a lcd cleaning kit made in china for Rs 80.. does it work .. coz i tried removing using a lcd cleaner early.. dint work.. plz help guys..is ther ne way i can remove them :huh:

I'd say, don't bother if you can see clearly while its on.

i already have one.. but the question is how do i remove the water residue.i want a clear screen :S

WEt wipe then quickly dry wipe..
Frankly for my laptop, my (soft) bath towel works best..
