Nope, there will be increment in performance but it will be imperceptible (around 1-5%). The most noticeable differece you would see is while copying large files or hammering the drive with multiple workloads. Still 980 pro is a great drive and probably will last you more than your systemI assume 980 pro compared to my WD SN570 500GB should double performance.
