Storage Solutions WD EUCX vs EZRX

Both are similar drives with difference in Buffer Size. EUCX have 16MB where-as EZRX have 64MB. Also EZRX consumes lesser power compared to ECUX.

No personal experience in both the drives.

EUCX or AV GP drives are meant for maximum data streaming and minimum data integrity. They skip any weak or bad sectors. They are normally used in DVRs/surveillance/streaming video capture, where a drive stopping on a bad sector could result in whole recording to fail. For DVR purpose corrupted data in a bad sector would just mean a few dropped frames. Otherwise these drives are unsuitable for data storage where data integrity is important.

Thanks. If given a choice between the two, which one will be better for storage and media streaming?

Go for WD10EALX..

EUCX is not suitable for your requirements and better stay away from EZRX if you plan to install games.
