So here is my curious case ..
I put the Drive in to my Comp and it gets detected in the BIOS as 1tb .. Now i go to the Disk Management where i initialize my Drive through the Wizard that runs .. After the initialization i try to format my Drive to NTFS but it fails .. I try to format my drive again it fails .. I restart my computer and now it doesnt even show up in the BIOS or device manager .. I ahve tried this on 2 other PCs but it just does not show up in the BIOS or Device manager ..
Do i need to get it RMAed now?

Is there a clicking noise from the hdd i think you need to get it rmaed since even if it works for sometime it's a 1tb drive and you cannot risk the data :)

Yeah there is a clicking noise in the begining when i switch on the PC .. The clicking noise is only from the HDD but what does that indicate .. Its a New drive so what could have gone wrong ..

It has gone kaput. Get it replaced. :)

Hmm .. so thats the reason it shows "Not Detected" In the Bios rather than some Drive name .. Did i do something wrong or things like these are ramdom ?
