Hi
I am looking to get the PCB of my dead WD hard disk repaired to recover some semi important data. The motor IC chip on it is fried. Anyone selling hdd with same pcb or the motor IC controller please contact. Details are as follows-
PCB- 2060-701537-004 rev a
Motor IC- smooth L7251 2.2
 
Its for wd1000aacs. But i guess other than capacity everything should be same. Can you send a photo of the pcb plate? Model number of pcb should be written there.
 
no bro. this is a different board. The motor IC on this one is also different version i.e smooth L7251 3.1 which is different from mine. I don't know whether it is going to be compatible or not.
