Webcam driver for vostro 3446

hey fellas,

i never felt so dumb in my tech life ever before.

dad got this dell vostro 3446 for himself without a preloaded windows.
so i had to configure it but i am absolutely frustrated by the fact i'm unable to find the driver for its webcam.i have the software ,dell webcam centre,but not the driver.

any help ?

Laptop webcams are generally connected to an internal USB port of the laptop & hence like all USB devices, does not require a driver. Install the webcam software & it should work. If not, check device manager for any fault with the camera.

Dell website should have all the necessary drivers for all laptops listed model wise.

I couldn't find any driver for webcam on the Dell Vostro 3446 download page for drivers for any OS. I did however come across the below page for webcam. It says that for Windows 8.1, the webcam drivers are built in. For Windows XP, Vista or 7, the instructions are provided. Please follow them.
