I seem to have a problem developed recently in my PC. If I connect any usb wireless keyboard or mouse to my pc then the range of it becomes very bad. I almost have to put the keyboard on top of the pc for it to smoothly work else even if I get a bit far away the signal starts to break.
I tried other mouse also but the same issue arises. I tried the same KB on another pc and it works fine. I don't seem to be able to identify the issue what could be wrong.
If you all could help me in identifying this then it would be really great.

i'm having the same issue on my office PC. I got a cheap Lapcare wireless KB/mouse here. The dongle is plugged in one of the two front port of pc. whenever I plug a pendrive in the 2nd USB port. The range just disappears. and I have to click like 20 times for a simple copy paste.

Is it happening with only front usb ports or both front and back? I too have faced such issue but only when I use front usb ports. No problem with the back ports.

Add an extension USB cable and move the wireless receiver away from the cabinet. The metal cabinet reduces the range significantly.

you guys use wifi over 2.4ghz ? and usb 3.0 cable ? near that dongle
nope, no Bluetooth or wifi. my problem only occurs when i plug in anything in the second USB port.

using front port, case is under the table so back ports are not easily accessible.
