Monitors Weird Monitor issue!!!

My samsung SyncMaster 763DFX is acting weird...the screen is always distorted...no setting is fixing this issue(deguassing no use)... tired pincushion/trapeziod setting since the screen was looking kinda like the pincushion setting was messed around with but no luck.....the screen is always distorted even when in bios or windows is booting...this occured all of sudden...

The screen must be pretty old say around 3 yrs and more...

Happens to most CRTs as the yrs pass by..

Besides I hope twasn kept near the vicinity of any spkrs...
 
yea its 4 years old ..... cannt expect much from it now i guess...but was never besides any spkrs(sub-woofers) ....there are two spkrs on each side but pretty far enough i guess.....anyhow i thought i could salvage this monitor for my download rig......

any idea if i could get this fixed in some TV repair shop?????
 
frnd ..i had same problm 2 my 4 year old l.g monitor.....
then i open the monitr remove dust form it....as an experiment...it workd for one hr ;) and came back 2 same situation...then i went 2 a t.v repairing shop and they ask me 1000 rs 2 repair it:mad: ...i gav them that monitr 4 free(bcoz m not sure that problm wil come bak or not)..and i bot new one which is having 3 year warranty (view soinic, rs:3600):eek:hyeah:
