Storage Solutions Western Digital My Passport 1TB (OR) Seagate Expansion 1TB

Hello Friends,

I am going to buy a 1TB external hard disk today or tomorrow. So far i've considered two products.

Could someone please tell me which one to buy?
Is "Western Digital" better than "Seagate"?

Remember this "Seagate Expansion" = CRASH.
Reason for it being a very bad power adapter unit.

Hey I will buy the same, but I was wondering if going for the 2 TB will make more sense than 1 TB? Also is it the fastest PHD available atm, the My Passport one?
How is this unit, what's the difference from My Passport?

Received it today. Compact and handy. Speeds are OK on USB 2.0. Should check on USB 3.0 which i will do later. What I'm worried is about the safety. Is there any case or pouch available for this?
