I was thinking of just doing a poll kind of thing, but there are too many variables involved. So thought I'll create a small template and let people fill it out. That way we can have a more of a reference kind of post.

So here's the template:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
GPU:
GPU cooler:
Cabinet:
Number of fans in the cabinet:
City of residence:
Idle CPU temp:
Idle GPU temp:
Gaming CPU temp:
Gaming GPU temp:

City of residence is for getting an idea of ambient temperatures. You can of course add any other factors you find relevant in your post.

Here's mine:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
CPU cooler: Deepcool Gamaxx 400 V2
GPU: Zotac 3060 TE OC
GPU cooler: stock
Cabinet: Deepcool Matrexx 30 SI (micro atx)
Number of fans in the cabinet: 2 (1in-1out)
City of residence: Mumbai
Idle CPU temp: 45
Idle GPU temp: 40
Gaming CPU temp: 60
Gaming GPU temp: 85

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
CPU cooler: Stock AMD
GPU: nVidia 3060 TI FE
GPU cooler: Stock nVidia
Cabinet: CM HAF932
Number of fans in the cabinet: 2 In- 2 Out
City of residence: Pune
Idle CPU temp: 41c

I was getting worried looking at everyone's readings because mine were so high. So I checked my fans again. Turns out, all the fans except the CPU cooler were blowing in the wrong direction. Including the one which comes factory fitted in the cabinet!!!

I checked the direction with an incense stick (agarbatti). I then proceeded to refit all the fans, after which temperatures are mostly in the low 70s. It crosses 80 c only once in a while when the scene gets too demanding.

Water rendering in Senua's Sacrifice was sure taking its toll on the GPU.

This is quite common in PC cases. Many fans come in weird configuration out of the box. And many times we wonder why the GPU temps are so bad.
Comes out to be an easy push pull configuration.
My GPU was angry while playing ELDEN RING and temperature would easily reach 80. Although the ambient was also quite high a few weeks ago. The ambient was close to 45 C.

So much for getting it professionally assembled for an extra charge.

The rear fan's cable was crossed in such a way that I had a hard time just flipping it. I simply can't take it out without removing the motherboard from the cabinet. The two front ones which I put in myself are better, the wires are messy, but they're easy to move.

Our so called "Professional computer guys" have never heard of anything called Cable management. I have never seen a single assembler doing any kind of cable management. In Kolkata, in Mumbai, In Delhi everywhere. They just want to connect everything and be done with it.

Some guys are little nice and they will tie up the cables if you ask them nicely. Otherwise most will say "Isse kuch farq nahi padta". Lol.

Well, to their credit, the cable management was actually decent. All PSU cables were routed from behind the motherboard. They did as good a job as the Matrexx 30 would allow. It's not the most well designed cabinet and I already wish I had gone for Matrexx 40. I wouldn't recommend Matrexx 30 to anyone, it's poorly designed. To Deepcool's credit, they've taken the feedback and improved a lot of things in Matrexx 40, which is a couple of inches taller.

The problem is, he just tucked in the fan cable behind the motherboard. So now there's no room for it to move without removing the motherboard.

When I spoke about the messy cables, I was talking about the two fans I put in myself.

The deepcool gamaxx 400 series is really bad, I used it recently and I could see a big difference between gamaxx 400 and the noctua nh-u12s
Ryzen 5 5600 isn't particularly a hot chip, so it works for me. But yes, I can attest that temperatures are similar to what others report with the stock cooler on 5600x. My 5600 was OEM and didn't come with a cooler, so it was a no-brainer for me. Noctua is in a completely different price class, so can't really be compared. It costs almost 5x that of the Gammaxx 400.

Wouldn't recommend the gammaxx 400 for Intel chips, the stock cooler will do almost as good a job.

This one i game at full hd, temps now depend on the game but both the rig temps are considering gaming on Halo infinite.

So here's mine:

CPU: Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black (using only single fan)
GPU: Asus Phoenix Gtx 1050Ti
GPU cooler: N.a.

Idle CPU temp: 38-40C (right now in this really hot summer peak)
Idle GPU temp: 38-40C
Gaming CPU temp: I don't play games
Gaming GPU temp: I don't play games

Use my desktop only for surfing, some ytube, social media and watching HD or 4k content. Sometimes photo editing and mostly playing music.
My CPU & GPU usage is very low and I've tuned the fans accordingly which spins at bare minimum levels even in summers.
