Pretty much what the topic says. I really want to know what rules or benchmarks governs the featured rig section? What makes a rig become a featured rig?
 
So, that means we dont really have a featured rig section. Any rig which has a picture can come up in the featured rig section ?

doesnt that seem a little unfair?

plus more often than not I have seen the same rigs being repeated over and over again for example this one

I mean , 1 Image ... and a rating of 3 ... and this rig gets to the featured section ? whereas there are much better rigs, with better ratings .. more pictures .. that hardly ever show up .............. whats the deal with that ?
 
its more like just to showcase the rig gallery in TE ;)

and just to test your claim , I refreshed the rig gallery page 5 times , each time it showed a different rig :) . so the random counter is working fine .. Dipdude already clarified about this
 
Try doin it around 25 times and you'll see at least 6 rigs being repeated, do it 25 times and you'll find the numbers increasing. from within the ones that you've already seen. Anyway, I'm not bothered anymore coz it isnt a real featured gallery.

Yep.

Nope.

Can't help that - whatever that Random Counter decides.

It does not have anything to do with Rating, you have pictures - your rig makes it to Featured Rig.

I have not coded that Random Counter so won't vouch for it ;) but i am sure its not hacked by any one for nefarious purposes.
