PC Peripherals What happens if laser printer is idle for many days?

I got this question through our contact us form and the user is not registered so posting on his behalf. The user apparently has a canon laser printer.

If printer is idle for 20 days, what is the status on 21st day? Will it print like on first day or need some trouble shooting activities?
 
should print normal as there is no ink to clog ..
I use a HP laser printer occasionally at home and it works normal without any issues
 
We have HP laser one. It runs fine. But sometimes the powder in the cartridge may become dry in which case refill it anew and run it.
 
If it is a inkjet the color will clog and AFAIK Laser printer cartridge might never clog but you have to run a test before going for a print.
 
My Bad.Inkjet Printers ink will get dry and get clogged and Laser Printer Toner powder will get clogged if there is no movement inside the cartridge. Like river sand inside a bottle. They will need to be shaken completely to use without any trouble which is done by refillers.
