Graphic Cards What in the GOD'S name is this....

hey guys

i recently bought a 6600gt from avi_avadhut here and i just went to the control panel today for the first time and to the Clock Frequency tab and guess what i found

the memory is a whooping 1.8GHz, higher than the almighty 8800, is it Possible or its just my drivers 91.xx,,

with that same doubt,i took this and installed it in my friends system and guess what the Same SPEED even for the Driver version of 77.86

i know its an engineering sample from sapphire but can this be possible????:huh:

Just a bug in the drivers..

Check this link 4 a similar case.. 6600GT problem

You can see the correct speeds by installin Rivatuner it seems.

the highest i heard a 6600GT doing was 630/1.4 GHz ...with loads of volt mods and wc'ing ...

man the these drivers transport u to a diff world sometimes...and u become ecstatic

some prob in drivers man..
max i overclocked the card is 1.01 GHz.
after that my 3d mark use to crash to just for testing purpose i set it at 1.01.
but later reverted back to default.

do clean install of XP with SP2. then apply drivers.
