Ridiculous tatasky. :arghh:

I had 2 months subscription for Grand sports pack.
The amount due date was 24th feb.
I was out of town so didnt recharged.

Today I got sms that my a/c bal is just Rs. 10/-.

Also on 11th feb I recharged for Tensports for R45. and my overall a/c bal was Rs. 50/-

Had a chat with tatasky and they said I was charge Rs.20.22/- per day basis to keep my grand sports pack active.:arghh:

I mean wtf?:wtf:
You are using my Ten sports recharged money to compensate for other pack??? Ridiculous. :rage:
How can they do this?

Now they told me to again recharge for all packs what I need. Now thats seriously not done.:rage:

I dont agree with this deduction process at all. I mean if my major pack was to expire on 24th then you should have disable that pack completely on that day itself and simply could have kept my Ten sports ON for its 1 month validity.

Instead you have simply diverted my Tensports money to compensate for that another pack. What pathetic system is this?? Hell with such system.:rage:

Is this how such dth stuff works??
So how you guys deal with??

Our so called local operator hathway is daily down for at least 2hrs randomly due to reception issue, wip or power failure.

Thats why have to move dth way and now they are having such very weird policies.

Thats why using local cable provider with 300 per month...
Me too.... But recently Star network got greedy and hiked the prices which made the local cable also very expensive. 390+ Rs30 for every star channel. So I went for Tata Sky HD.
Again there were too many packs and stuff so simply went for the Mega HD annual so no headache for one year. Any new (non premium) channels will automatically be added to my pack for one year.

Unfortunately, that is the way it is with all DTH operators. You can't do anything about it. The Ten sports pack or grand sports pack that you mention are all add-on packs. You need to have a basic pack in valid subscription to be able to avail the add on packs.
Secondly, the deduction works exactly as you mentioned. Suppose your basic pack is Rs.360 per month, it comes to Rs.12 per day. If your add on pack is Rs.60 per month (rs.2 per day), then the operator just calculates that your new daily burn rate is now Rs.12 + Rs.2 = Rs.14. So whatever balance your account has, Rs.14 will be deducted every day right from when you have subscribed to the add on pack. There is no separate validity for add-on packs, like you have for mobile rate cutters.
