PC Peripherals what shud i buy???

iv decided to buy proccy-amd phenom x3 720BE
mobo- Asus M4A78-EM
GPU-4850 512mb
2 gb ddr2
so wht psu shud i buy for tis configuration...my vendor suggested me vip 500watt but is it any gud...
plzzz help me....my budget is around 2k for psu
 
thanx srirama ...ill c if ddr3 fits in my budget ...i heard they r costly:mad:....nd will i be able to play games (gta4,nfs shift,farcry etc etc) with tis configuration....
 
^ yes u can play most of games with this config ...

(Cant say about GTA4)

Transcend DDR2 800MHz = 2200/-

Transcend DDR3 1333MHz = 2500/-
 
yes,you will be able to play most recent games on this Dont worry

My suggestion,get 2 gigs of ddr3 ram,IMO the prices will drop(hopefully ;)),then get another 2 gigs of ram :clap:

BTW you have nice setup,unlock the extra core in the 720 BE,to get a quad :D
 
That rig config is more than capable of running GTA 4(and any other games out there at the moment for that matter) upto resolutions of 1680 X 1050 so dont worry about that. :)

just change your proccy to Phenom II x4 955 only if you have the money.

Its because i don't know whether or not you will be able to unlock it to quad core .

Phenom II x4 955 is better buy for cpu intensive games like GTA 4.

Procc - Phenom II x4 955 - 9.1k
Mobo -Gigabyte 785GMT-UD2H - 5.9k
RAM -Transcend 2 gb DDR3 1333mhz -2.6k / Transcend 2x2 gb DDR3 1333mhz -5.2k
PSU -Gigabyte superb 460w - 2.2k
Gfx - Ati 4850 - 6.5k
Total - 26.3k / 28.9k

It wud be wastage of money to go for DDR2 now knowing DDR2 2gb ~ DDR3 2gb price . LAter on DDR2 prices will rise further and DDR3 will fall . It wud be wise to go with DDR2 now unless u want to change ur rig ( mobo+ram) next year.

If you are tight on budget then take 2gb DDR3 now and buy one 2gb DDR3 in 1 or 2 months.

I would advise you to stick with DDR3 even though it costs more .
 
thanx guys for ur suggestions:)....ill go with ddr3 definetly :D...

nd plzz any guys frm nasik knws a gud computer shop to buy all of this...iv asked evry shop in my area(nasik road) bt they dnt hv a clue abt 4850...so ant nashikites plzzz tell me gud shop where i can get gigabyte or crrosair psu and ati card......
